LizVowles.com website (the "Site") is designed to provide you with high quality information about yoga, pilates, fitness, relaxation and wellbeing, and bringing together a community of people that are interested in yoga, health and wellness. The Site is not intended for those below the age of 18.

Before commencing any exercise program or nutritional program and before making changes to your existing exercise or nutritional program, you should consult your physician or other qualified Healthcare Provider in order to ascertain whether the programs and changes are appropriate for you.

You are responsible for your own safety. A very important part of your own journey is to assume responsibility for your own wellness, your own body and your health. Please listen to your body and when in doubt, hold back on any exercise regime. From time to time instructors may suggest physical adjustments or the use of equipment and it is your sole responsibility to determine if any such suggested adjustment or equipment is appropriate for your level of ability and physical and mental condition.

You expressly waive and release any claim that you may have at any time for injury of any kind against LizVowles.com, or any person or entity involved with LizVowles.com including without limitation its instructors, affiliates and representatives.  You assume all risk of injury by using the content, Services and Products. Please do not use the content, Services and Products if you are not willing to accept this responsibility.

No content or other information contained on or provided through the Site should be construed as medical and/or health advice. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified Healthcare Provider for answers to any questions you may have regarding a medical or health related condition.

Live Events

These live events either online or in person are for your education and your enjoyment only. You are participating in the live classes at your own risk. You are encouraged to to take breaks when needed and/or when in doubt, don’t do sequences that you are even a little concerned about. If you have any health condition, please seek medical advice before taking any form of exercise. If you have any concerns, please let us know before the class starts.

If you feel unwell in any way or if you experience any discomfort during class, please stop the class and consult your health practitioner immediately. Remember that yoga is mostly a journey off the mat and into life, and it is a journey about taking responsibility for our own actions and cultivating self-knowledge. Only choose exercises which will nurture and support you, and please take responsibility for yourself and your current abilities during your practice. Remember that each day is different, and even if yesterday you were able to perform a movement, that is no indicator that the same exercise is possible today. Please move within your comfortable limits and if you’re in any doubt whatsoever, please seek medical advice.

We are not medical practitioners and we do not seek to offer medical advice. Please consult your healthcare practitioner before starting any new exercise. This is particularly important if you have any limiting condition or are, pregnant, nursing, regularly taking medications, or have any existing medical conditions. We do not accept any liability whatsoever for any injury or damage, either during or after our the event. Before commencing any yoga or pilates classes, all participants are required to complete a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire). This short and confidential form helps ensure that movement practices are safe and supportive for your individual needs. It allows me to understand any health considerations, injuries, or conditions so that practices can be adapted where necessary. The PAR-Q is an important part of creating a safe, inclusive, and caring environment, and supports your wellbeing as you move, rest, and reconnect with your body.
