Step into a two-hour in-person YOGA and SOUND experience lovingly designed to help you pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

REST FEST includes gentle yoga with Liz, and a mini sound bath with Denise, creating a personal healing journey to nurture your body, mind, and spirit.

Through soothing practices, you’ll connect with the support of the earth and regulate your nervous system, helping you feel calm, centred, and alive.

Please bring a comfortable yoga mat, cushion, and pillow for your comfort during the relaxation.

More about Denise

Denise has been guiding meditations and has been a reiki master-teacher for over 20 years. In 2004, she left a 20 year nursing career to focus on energy healing with reiki, crystals and sound.  She has been hosting sound baths since 2019 after returning to live in the UK from Australia. Denise has been hosting sound baths locally at Helmsley Open Air Pool and in Pickering.

Denise will guide you on a self healing journey with soothing sounds from instruments such as Crystal & Tibetan singing bowls; Crystal pyramid; Chimes; Ting Sha ; Rain stick; Shaker and will at times be using her singing voice to harmonise.

More about Liz

Liz has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and has been teaching yoga since 2019. Guiding people with practices designed to support the body’s natural ability to rebalance, heal, and regulate the nervous system.

For Rest Fest, Liz has created a gentle, mindful sequence of postures to lead you towards a deep rest and relaxation, directly into the soundbath guided by Denise. No prior yoga experience is needed, and she will offer modifications for every body, ensuring the practice is accessible, nurturing, and deeply calming. Please ensure you bring a yoga mat, cushion and blanket for your comfort.

The Rest Fest Signature Blends

Liz and Denise have created bespoke essential oil blends especially for Rest Fest. You can add these special items to your ticket order and receive them at our event to take home with you.

Essential Oil Rest Fest Rollerbottle (5ml) £15. This calming, restorative combination is designed to inspire deep rest, gentle rejuvenation, and a sense of inner calm. Ready to roll on to wrists or soles of feet.

Space Clearing Vibrational Essence Spray (10ml) £15. With a lovely essential oil blend to clear the energy in your environment, your body or your energy field.

More about our venue

Kirkbymoorside Memorial Hall has parking available locally in the car park opposite. There is a flight of steps leading up to the practice space, so unfortunately this experience will not be suitable for those in a wheelchair. There is a stair lift available, we ask that you kindly let us know in advance if you would like to use it.
